Brief History
Created some fifteen years after the Doctor was born, and grown from his cells with the intention of being given to him after his graduation from the Time Academy, The TARDIS is the last of her kind in the universe save for the few offspring she has given birth too in her lifetime. Originally intended for the Doctor, she was grown in the Looms of the House of Arpexia as an experimental Tardis of Type 40 with the sentience of a Form 100, which makes her 100% alive and able to communicate with her operator telepathically. But when the Doctor failed to pass his Tardis flight exams numerous times, she was given to an old Time Lord named Marnal to use. For 100 long years under his operation, she was ill-treated as he could not bond with her and in the end it was a crash land on a nearby planet that killed him and caused her to go into decommission. It was here that The Doctor, in his First Incarnation and weary of Gallifrey would steal her, symbiotically link with her and would become her Time Lord, as he has been for over 900 years now.
The Doctor and The TARDIS have a deep telepathic bond, which has been formed over their years of travelling together and both have made a pact to never die without the other. Their relationship is one of soulmates and their bond is so deep now that The Doctor can feel her pain and emotions.
Character Personality
Like Time Lords, TARDIS can regenerate and therefore their personality and appearance (in terms of her holoform) changes with every regeneration. The TARDIS is now in her Fourth Regeneration but retains the kindness, gentleness and motherly instincts that she has always had.
