Brief History
Lillian Perrault is the eldest daughter to Euphémie and Rodolphe Perrault who was adopted when the childless couple found the newborn abandoned on their doorstep. The little one had a gentle glow to her and seemed almost like a fairy child who came into their lives as a blessing; and that indeed she was. Just three months later, Euphémie (who was told she may never have children after a series of miscarriages) fell pregnant and nine months later gave birth to Lily’s younger sister; Julia.
The two were inseparably close from the outset but it turned out that Julia’s unruly wild nature and obstinate temprement would be the rift that would separate the sisters for some time. At the age of twelve Julia was sent to live at a convent school in the neighbouring province. Lily continued to write to her every week and so the sisters stayed very close despite their physical separation.
Lily and her parents continued their happy lives in Montpellier until the French Revolution saw that they must flee to safer territory which then brought them to a summer house in Turku, Finland called Rosethorn which was owned by the ruling family of the city; Lord Tobias Destler and his younger brother Evald, the former having just come into lordship after the tragic death of his parents. It is during this time that Lily meets Tobias and their love begins to bloom and grow.
Character Personality
Lily is a gentle soul with a love for all things living. She thrives on nature and the sun, and can often become depressed during the winter months. As a person she is a natural born mother and cares deeply for those closest to her. This gentle demeanour however should not be taken as a weakness however for unlike her husband she is very sure of herself and her beliefs and is quite able to stand up for herself.
